How do I get podcasts back in the Music app after getting rid of the new Podcast app?

I downloaded the new podcast app and I don't like it. It does not integrate well with the Nike Running application, which is the only way I use both of them (concurrently).

I've tried deleting the podcast app, but the podcasts to not go back to the Music app where they were before. I've also tried deleting the app and unchecking my podcasts in iTunes, syncing, then checking them and syncing again with the app removed, but they still do not show up.

Anyone find a fix for this? I know I could 'erase and sync' the whole iPod, but that seems excessive.

There's no fix for this. You shouldn't delete Apple software off Apple devices.

The "solution" is to re-download the Podcast app and learn to like it. Personally I think it's terrific.
