I have a Mac Mini I bought in February of 2008. I have the OS X 10.5.8 which is the latest version for my computer according to the software update. I would like to upgrade to Mountain Lion 10.6 but am not sure if my mini is new enough. Does anyone know if it is? What's the easiest way to upgrade it? Thanks.

Your Mac's Specs
Mini (2014, 2018, 2020), MBA (2020), iPad Pro (2018), iPhone 13 Pro Max, Watch (S6)
As long as you meet these requirements, you can upgrade to SL.

To get it, you'll have to contact Apple since it is no longer available for sale.

Waiting for a mate . . .
Your Mac's Specs
21" iMac 2.9Ghz 16GB RAM - 10.11.3, iPhone6s & iPad Air 2 - iOS 9.2.1, ATV 4Th Gen tvOS, ATV3
And FYI, Mountain Lion is 10.8, Lion is 10.7 and Snow Leopard is 10.6 and that is what you need as vansmith stated above

Cheers

Mac Mini (Late 2014) 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
For 10.6 Snow Leopard, I presume, since there is no upgrade disc for 10.7 or 10.8
...just in case this might be a question for a recent switcher who happens upon this thread
