popup blocker for mozilla?

hi guys

im getting TICKED OFF to no end. some sites just insist on making me insaine with popoups (harmonycentral, mysongbook) and sometimes even freezing/crashing mozilla

is there a popup blocker that WORKS or a better browser or something? im only really on mozilla because of the tabbed browsing and it seems alittle better at blocking popups than safari

yea, im using mozilla firefox, and its being absoloutely worthless. it freezes like crazy too

Is the Pop-up blocker on? Firefox -> Preferences -> Content -> Block Popups

What about safari?
