I have recently sold an Apple TV 3 on eBay which is 2 ½ months old. This product is like new, I barley used it and I always look after all of my Apple products.
The buyer has emailed me saying the micro USB port doesn’t work.
I never connected the device to the computer so I have no idea whether it works or not but I would suspect it does as Apple products tend not to just break after a couple of months. I have a suspicion that he doesn’t want Apple TV anymore and that is why he wants a refund.
My question is how do you connect the device via USB to the computer?
He claims that he plugs in the USB cable and no light flashes and it doesn’t show up in iTunes. Is it supposed to?
It would be great if someone could clear this up for me because it will help me decide what to do.
