How to unsync office Ipad from my macbook

I upgraded to mountain lion on my Macbook and used the apple ID on the office Ipad to purchase as it would go to my business credit card.
The Ipad is for the office, whereas my Macbook is for my work and personal use. Now my notes which include my work and personal to do lists is showing up on the Ipad. How could I unsync this Macbook from the account on the Ipad?

Just change the AppleID and password in the iCloud settings in System Preferences to you personal AppleID

I did that and my notes are still on the Ipad. I guess I have to manually delete them and then test it again. Thanks !!

Well yes, you'll have to delete what's already on the iPad. But making those changes will 'unsync' as required.
