I have a Mac Book Pro from late 2010. I cannot get this scanner to work with my computer. Can't find a driver. Can even get a hint about where such a driver might be. Ideas? Thank you.

Most scanners are TWAIN compliant and don't require a special driver.

Open Image Capture (in your Applications folder) and see if the scanner appears in the left-side of the application window. If it does, you're good to go.
