resetting iPad without updating.

I'm selling my iPad 3rd gen. and I want to reset it without updating to iOS 6 (I want to keep the jailbreakability of it)

how can I do this? Is there some 3rd party solution?

Go to iTunes and go to the iPad in question. Click restore and go through the process of resetting it, ignoring any prompts to update the software. Easy :)
