Help Garageband doesn't save!!!

I have an awfull problem with garageband. It has happened twice now that I have worked all night with a song, and when I press save I think it's saved. but no, when I want to open it again later, the message " can't findt soundfile # 3 " or something appears!!! What can I do?? Please help me :eek:neye:

ibook g4, imac 2ghz c2d, mbp 2.4ghz c2d - 10.5.1
have you tried to open it with itunes? this could work. if not try to re-install os x
