Hard Drive speed

Your Mac's Specs
13" Retina MacBook Pro, 2.8GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD
So I have a late 2008 unibody macbook and using Blackmajic Disk Speed Test on my internal HD I am getting a Read Speed of about 45 - 60 MB/s and a Write speed about the same.
Does that seem slow for a SATA II HD or are these results normal?
