Joystick choice for iMac

I have downloaded Proflightsimulator (for Mac) but cannot get my Saitek Cyborg 3D Platinum joystick to fully respond. Is this a software problem as I haven't downloaded any software as the disc I have is for Windows. Is there a good joystick out there that anyone has found good for their Mac? Advice most welcome!

The Logitech Extreme 3D seems to be one of the best choices, for the least amount of money.
It needs no install software, has 12 buttons and works great out of the box.
You can get it on Amazon for little over 20 bucks and it looks like this...

There are no Mac drivers for the Cyborg you have, so if it doesn't already work with OS X, then you'll have to follow SM's advice or look for a Joystick that specifically supports the Mac..

Pretty awesome looking joystick…considering how few there are for Mac's! I may have to get one!

Yeah sweet joystick..now I just need some nice space sims (not much into flight sims) to actually use it..I so miss that genre of games..

I use a Saitek X with Xplane with no problems.
