I currently use dual monitors while working. I had a slowing down issue and had to Force Shutdown by holding down the power button.

After I turned on my computer, one of monitors stopped working. Here's video card info:

Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600
Type: Display
Bus: PCIe
Slot: Slot-1
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: ATI (0x1002)
Device ID: 0x9588
Revision ID: 0x0000
ROM Revision: 113-B1480A-252
EFI Driver Version: 01.00.252
Displays:
ASUS VS208:
Resolution: 1600 x 900 @ 60 Hz
Depth: 32-Bit Color
Core Image: Hardware Accelerated
Main Display: Yes
Mirror: Off
Online: Yes
Quartz Extreme: Supported
Rotation: Supported
Display Connector:
Status: No Display Connected

Both monitors still work as I switched their DVI cables and the other would work respectively. The thing I noticed was when I unplugged the DVI of the non-working monitor and plugged it back in, the working monitor turned blue for a few seconds and goes back to normal.

Here's the list of things I tried:
• "Detect Displays"- slight choppiness of the mouse but nothing
• Reset SMC
• Reset PRAM
• Tried updating firmware but my computer wouldn't let me since it was unnecessary
• Opened physical unit and unseated the video card then re-seated
• Went to display options and tried several resolutions, still nothing

It seems my computer recognizes when I plug in the non-funct monitor but no signal is still found.

What else can I do besides replace my video card?

Check this out and see if it applies to you - depends on when you purchased your MP - but the warranty on the HD 2600 XT was extended to 3 years from date of purchase - link.

I think the XT was the default card.
