Is it possible to upgrade the RAM (4GB) to 8GB on my Mid-2011 MBAir (1.8Ghz Core i7, 4GB DDR3 @ 1333Mhz)?

I know OWC has an SSD Upgrade but can't find anything on the RAM

So annoying that Apple builds these things un-upgradeable.

Memory can not be upgraded on the MBA models. Why are you annoyed at Apple? You should have thought about that before making the purchase. The "Air" is lightweight and has a slim form factor but is limited in what can be upgraded.

I'm annoyed because they released the same exact laptop 12-months later with a 512GB SSD and 8GB RAM.

Considering the form factor, and that you can add 480GB via OWC, RAM being non-upgradeable is annoying.

Thanks for answering the question

If you are trying to buy something that has everything and is forever upgradable (especially with laptops), you will always be upset. It does not exist.
