Hi there. Im new to terminal in my Mac book pro (osx 10.6.8) and a bit scared of terminal. SO I typed the basic pwd command in Terminal I get:
/Users/mycomputername/Documents
kaushers-iphone:Documents mycomputername$

I cant find any referance to kaushers-iphone online.
I was expecting something like h
460db012:~ mycomputername$
/Users/mycomputername

Can anyone cast any light on this?

Your Mac's Specs
Way... way too many specs to list.
You obviously have a directory named kaushers-iphone in ~/Documents.

The first line is where you are: /Users/mycomputername/Documents
The second line is your prompt. Don't know why there is a reference to iphone. Check your dot files.
.bashrc, .bash_profile
MIne just shows my name and where I happen to be: craig@zinger:~/Downloads$
