iBooks disappeared after updating to iOS6

All but 2 of the 25 PDF's in my Library Collection disappeared after updating to iOS 6 on my iPad 2.

Don't piggyback on other threads

Please explain, I'm new to this, thought I did what I was supposed to do to post my question & don't understand how I piggybacked on another thread.
