I’m a virgin, be gentle (long first post)

ISo in a “just pick one” moment, I order a Macbook (used). The one I picked is Apple MacBook MC516LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop. This unit has been upgraded to the latest OS but only has 2gb of ram.

Looking for memory upgrades I found Other World Computing and trusted them that this computer really will take 8 gb of ram (which I ordered)

You can rely on OWC Mac specialists. If Office and iLife came complete with the install CDs and passwords you did very well. Aahh I see they did not and are pirate versions. There is no way to copy them over as they will ask for the activation code.

If you did not buy the software, it is not yours. As to "Time Machine", yes it does. Yes thumb dirves work fine on the Mac so long as they are formatted for it.
