First time on this forum so I hope I can figure it out.
Problem with my mac desk top....A family member pressed a couple of keys by mistake and now the screen does not fit the actual screen of the computer. I order to see the right, left, top or bottom of the screen I have to put my cursor towards that side and then the screen moves. I've attempted to fix it but can't. Any suggestions?

What version of OSX do you have? Reason I ask as in the latest 10.8 Mountain Lion the settings panel is different.

Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Click on Zoom. Someone hit the keys and turned on Zoom and zoomed in a bit.

You can disable that there if you want. Option+Command+Minus should bring it back to normal if you choose not to turn Zoom off.
