Mail issue

My wife had some service done by Best Buy to install some new hardware. The "tweaked" something and now her email is received by her contacts as "false" (her email address in parentheses). I called Best Buy but they seem to deny doing anything. Any suggestions for curing this problem, since it bothers her contacts?

Ah, Geek Squad. They will be the first up against the wall when the revolution comes.

She needs to review both her address book (called Contacts in Mountain Lion) for her own address card and see if there's anything funky there. If so, edit the card.

After that, she can check her Mail settings, but my bet is that the problem is with Address Book/Contacts.
