Power Mac G4 10.5.8 Problem

First time post guys...

Okay, not a Mac expert by any means, have used one on and off at work for years but thats about it.

Anyway, have just brought home from work a Power Mac G4 (FW 800) and upgraded it to Leopard 10.5 - I done a complete reinstall (not an upgrade).

Everything seems fine but...

I'm now trying to update to 10.5.8 and it won't let me!!

Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!

Have you tried downloading the combo updater

No I haven't.

How does that differ to the normal 10.5.8 update?

Its just an alternative method, and in many cases more reliable
