Help Needed!

Hi there,

I got a almost-new MacBook Air from my sister recently and erased the hard disk "Macintosh HD." At start off, it shows a grey-ish folder with a question mark on it. So I pressed the option button and tried to recover through Internet. But the computer doesn't recognize my home wi-fi... What should I do to fix this?

The problem with Recovery is the operating system, whatever it may be as you do not say, was downloaded from the App Store probably, and in your sister's Apple ID. Might help to get it back to your sister and see if she can download the OS.
