best cd ripping software for mac?

Hello,
was just wondering what software would be best used with mac's for ripping cd's for my ipod.....is there any good freeware product which I should look into...and the best top line software?

Aluminium Macbook 2.4 Ghz 4GB RAM, SSD 24" Samsung Display, iPhone 4, iPad 2
I would just use iTunes.

Pop in the cd and hit the big *import* button in the top right corner.

If you go to iTunes preferences you can choose with which codec the songs will be imported. Use AAC if you want to save some space, Mp3 for best compatibility amongst devices and Aiff or apple lossless if you want a lossless rip.

I prefer 192Kbit for my mp3 files and 160Kbps for my AAC files.
I usually stick with 69Kbps AAC
