Actually, when I saw the thread title I immediately thought, "hockey puck". ;)

Man... I can't wait to get rid of my BB Curve and get the iPhone 5 next week.
My BB is a dumbphone and far from being a smartphone.

I like the idea but one good shot and the cheap hardware would go to pieces and then you have pick them up off the ice.

I vote doorstop. Jam it under there and even if it cracks, it still does the job.

As far as I'm concerned, that form of Blackberry is more useful. You gain valuable nutrition when eaten. Try to use a BB phone and you're in for a headache, try to eat it and you're in for a trip to the hospital.

The BB's were tough. I hated the one we used for on-call at work, but it was tough. We ended up shooting it one evening after we had replaced it with an iPhone 3GS. Amazingly, it didn't blow apart into a million pieces. It just had a large hole through it and the back cover and battery went flying off to who knows where.

My Blackberry Storm is serving time as a alarm clock. It sits in the cradle besides my bed, It has been there for over two years. That is the best that it has ever performed.

Mom has a BB…I'm not sure as to what model it is…

I wanna play baseball with it when she gets either an Android or an iPhone 4.

I have a BB Nextel that I use for work (company provided) and I never have been interested in having 2 cell phones until the iPhone 5 hit. I'll get the 5 and the BB will sit on my desk for the Nextel function only.

I use my STILL under contract Blackberry Bold 9780 as an alarm clock.....seriously, it's part of a dual phone family plan I went on....the primary use phone......iPhone 4 ! which isn't as useful as an alarm clock (not loud enough sorry) but can do everything else well enough :)

I'm still waiting on my iPhone 5 to arrive from China. It should be here this week and I will then use my BB as a wheel chock.
