A Friend of mine logged into his Facebook account and now Notification Center keeps popping up for Facebook messages. I´m not into social webbing and in the System Prefs/Notifications Facebook is in the "not in Notification Center" list. How do I remove the notifications ?

Any idea why 10.8.2 is taking so long to shut down in a new MBA SSD 8gb RAM ? Didn´t happen in the first days and also in the MBPro I had with ML.

There's this small icon in the bottom left corner of the notifications bar, click that and you'll wind up in the
prefs for notifications.
There you can customize all your settings to your hearts desire :)

Edit: The right!! I mean the right corner!! :p

Yeap, that´s what I did in the first place, but as I say Facebook is in the "not in Notification Center" and it still appears.

Any idea regarding slow shut down ?
