Title should say it all. I am running the most current Mountain Lion OSX. When I start up my computer my home folder opens up automatically. How can I prevent this? Thanks.

When you hit shutdown the following pops up. Uncheck if checked "Reopen Windows when logging back in".

If that is not checked let us know.

I always leave it unchecked.

Is it even possible to make that happen on purpose? Like have it as a startup item...
I'll have to try that!

If it's open when you shut down, it'll open when you start up.

If you uncheck what I showed above nothing should open except items set to open at Login in Users under System Preferences.

Yes I have checked Users under system preferences and everything is as it should be. Now I ran Onyx automation again, and as before it corrects itself for awhile. Then somewhere along the line, later on it will open up again. I am baffled by this.

I guess it is. Because somehow I managed to do this without even trying!
