OSX 10.7.2 Automatically logging out every 5 minutes

Despite all efforts to disable OSX 10.7.4 continues to log me out every 5 minutes of computer non-use. Especially annoying when trying to complete a long back-up!

Any particular reason you're on 10.7.2 and haven't updated to the most recent release (10.7.5)?

Frustrated about auto logging out

No reason; just haven't taken the time to do the update to 10.7.5 (actually checked again - I'm on 10.7.4 sorry)

OK. Those minor point releases are primarily bug fixes. So, when you sit a few versions behind, you are going to be subject to those bugs that have been long since corrected in subsequent releases. I would update first and then troubleshoot (if still necessary) later.

Solved

OK. Under security settings in user preferences go to advanced, and there is a checkbox of Automatically logging out. Uncheck it and viola. No more automatic logout.
