IMac-Outlook

Hi, I have a simple question on Outlook for Mac.
Isn't there a possibility to receive read reports when you send emails from Outlook?
And I couldn't see the option to set a different color/format when responding to emails (i.e. default format settings for replying)...
I am new user of Outlook for Mac and it seemed to me this is so much poorer than the other Outlook versions for Windows.

Sadly you are right. They are two different animal with the same name.

I will say that delivery or read receipts are near useless.

I can understand your disappointment, however, keep in mind that Outlook for Mac is a 1.0 version application. There will be improvements to it as Microsoft releases new versions of Office for the Mac. Previously, Entourage was the email client that was included with Mac Office.
