Updates from App Store don't clear from window

When I install updates from the App Store, they don't clear from the App Store window. The list just keeps growing and the updates don't show as installed but as "Update". This is in OSX 10.8.2.

Any suggestions please?

Does that for me too in SL, however next time I log on it's right. Maybe just a glitch?

Mine never clears completely. As you say it may be a glitch, but it is annoying as the icon keeps prompting me to install updates I have already installed.

I have two accounts with two email addresses. I don't know if that is contributing to the problem.

I would like to merge the accounts, but don't know how to.
