Second Monitor With iMac

Hi All,

This is one of my first posts so hope this is ok.

I currently have my TV connected to my iMac 27".

Whenever i have a film or something else running on the TV (second display) and swipe the mouse so another desktop is shown on my iMac the screen will also change on the TV.

Is there anyway i can have the second monitor as static, so whatever is on the screen is always visible?

I really hope this makes sense.

Don't think so. Running 2 monitors, unmirrored, and both change to new desktop.
Then again...see in the middle, where it says Application assignments? Put it on every desktop? (space)
