I simply cannot get Google contacts to correctly sync to my iPhone. I am using an Exchange connection. Mail works fine. I finally got the calendar set up after much fiddling with it. But, the contacts in Google, when synced using iTunes using the Advanced replacement of all entries selection gives me spurious entries in the address book. For example, I get lots of just email addresses without corresponding names with a proper card.
I think this has something to do with the fact that the fields in Google contacts do not correspond to the fields in the Apple address book. Is there some place where these filelds have been mapped. I have spent hours manually going through and getting rid of "other" entries, but that did not help.
Anybody know where I can find a mapping between the fields in these two pas? Or, am I doing something wrong here. These is waaaaay too hard!
