Sony Ericcson W600i Mac compatible?

3 Ghz i3 iMac, Macbook Pro, Old G5, iPhone, iPad, and a drawer of iPods
My wife wants a Sony W600i phone.
The manual says it supports only Windows 2000/XP, yet there are 3-4 sketchy looking third party software sites that claim to have a Mac OS X workaround.
Does anyone on the forum have any information about this?

It's for my wife.
She only wants the 600, because "Its a slider and the orange is cool"
