Ipad 3 always has no service, even when my iphone has FULL service

My iPad 3 NEVER has service and it's becoming extremely annoying. My Ipad never has service even when my iPhone 5 has full service. Has anyone else had this issue with their iPad? Clearly this is not a network issue as my iPhone works fine and opens pages fine, but my iPad is a brick 90% of the time that it's not on wifi. On a road trip today I had to tether my iPad to my iPhone to use it. This is completely unacceptable. Both devices are on AT&T.

I would take the iPad back to the Apple store where you purchased it from and have them check it out. I have no problem getting a least a 3 bar 4G signal on my iPad 3 (Verizon) no matter where I am. Most of the time I get a full signal.

Don't know where my first post in this thread went, but my iPad 3 never has service, even when my iPhone has full service. Clearly this is not a network issue. Does this make any sense to anyone? Has anyone experienced this before?

However, you still need to take your iPad 3 to Apple and have them look at it - as I told you in my previous reply. Something is wrong with its reception ability.
