I phone 5 sending texts clock setting

When i send a text it come to the receiver with a 6 hours time stamp differnce. do any one know how to set the clock. However on some texts to phones are correct. any suggestions?

Sounds like the difference between iMessage and SMS (SMS will use the network time code).

But to check your time settings go to Settings - General - Date & Time

Turn off auto settings and manually configure the time and zone.

Restart the phone and try your messages again.

Thanks! , yes have done that. oddly enough some phones it comes across correctly ( blackberry) and some donnot (android) as I have tested.
