MDP/Thonderbolt to HDMI cable ??

MDP/Tunderbolt to HDMI ??

I just ordered a Mac mini and am going to use the HDMI port for my tv. I want to use the MDP/thunderbolt for a Samsung 1080p monitor I just got. my question is the cables I have seen all have bad reviews manly they last between 3 mounts to a year does anyone have one that's not a POS and what cable is it ? Thanks for your help

If you're reading reviews on Amazon, just go for one of the adapters or cables that have a 4-1 ratio or higher of 5 star to one star ratings.

Yes true but most reviews are when the cable is new I wana know what MDP/Tunderbolt to HDMI cable people on here are using with good long term result ?

This is the adapter I have been using for a while with my 2012 13" MBP. It for sure supports sound and with multiple plugs and unplugs it has performed really well to date.

I've been using this for 2 years with no problems whatsoever:

The OWC adapter is of very high quality. I don't think you can go wrong with it:

Name brands, go for Griffin or Kanex - you'll find both at Amazon.

NewerTech above also makes some nice hardware at decent prices.

Personally, I recommend, have purchased and own a couple of this adapter from monoprice.

While I have had no problem with a half ton of cables/adapters purchased from monoprice, I'd rate the first 3 as better quality.

(Note: Anytime you see a 4-1 positive to negative ratio at Amazon, particularly with over 100 reviews/ranks - most of the negatives can be taken with a grain of salt.)
