Right here is the situation.

Wired Router with Wireless AP attached to it so everyone connects to the AP.

Want to add a shared printer (USB of course) would i be better using a wired or wireless print server? Was thinking of APExpress but a print server is all that id use it for and i would also have to set it up as bridge in order to stay on the current wireless network yea?

Anyone else been in this situation that can shead some light my way?

Is the Airport attached to the router an Airport Extreme or an older model, does it have a USB port on it? If so, you can plug the printer into it, install the printer drivers and any Macs will use Bonjour to connect to the printer automatically (assuming they are using 10.4). You simply have to go into System prefs and add the printer. You can download Bonjour for windows as well and it makes hooking them up a LOT easier as well.

If you don't have an Airport Extreme, or are not using 10.4, I have no idea, but an Airport Express will work.

The Airport should work fine.

I've never had to set up printing wirelessly other than thorough an AP Express, so I can't give you any help on how to do it otherwise, sorry.
