Lost File attachment ability with Hotmail

I lost the option to attach files when using my hotmail. If I use gmail it does work well but with hotmail I cannot attach any type of files.

Are you accessing your hotmail account through the new http://outlook.com portal or the older Sign In portal? If the latter, try the newer portal and see how things go.
