iMovie uploads: "Youtube reported an error"

I'm trying to post to Youtube , with no success. Three tries with different items,
all under 10 minutes, all pure education (math). Every time, after 15 minutes
of processing, when I hit "publish" I get a pop-up: "Alert. YouTube reported an error."
What can I do? (Using iMovie'08)

PPC Mini, 10.4.11. Intel Mini, 10.6.8. MacBook Pro, 10.14.6. M1 MBA 11.6.3 iPhone 5 iOS 12.5,
I always export the movie to Finder, and then upload it from there via the YouTube website. Give that a try.
