Screen went dark after taking it apart.

So I took my macbook apart to replace the magsafe board, I thought it went well. After reassembly not only is it still not charging the battery but now the screen is so dark I can hardly see it. chscag?

The inverter module and cabling would be suspect here - is this a standard (plastic) MacBook?

Agree with cwa107. Go back over your work and pay special attention to the cabling. On older MacBooks and MBP models the cabling and connectors become brittle over time and can easily be damaged.

It is the 13" original early 2006 macbook. I am so PO'ed. Thanks guys.
