I have a retail biz in London UK and my shop is not listed on the new apple maps used on iPhone and iPad etc.

How can I get my biz listed - we are a specialist beer shop, so think we are of interest!

Cheers

Apple's new maps applications has a bit of catching up to do as seen here and here for instance.

Here's my school as another example:

The best you can hope for is a watchful eye from Apple. Hopefully they push out updates quickly.

EDIT: Just read an article on the BBC about this. The problem appears to affect satellite photos as well.

Apple Maps is a 1.0 and has to catch up to Google's what, 10 years of map data?

Give it a little time.

If it wasn't ready, why release it? And they used TomTom's data who has 20+ years of experience.

I sure darn hope Apple isn't planning on going out and getting the map data themselves, but like Van said get it from someone who already has a good amount of it available..otherwise, it'll take a decade or more to catch up to the rest..

They won't. But let's take a breath and remember this is a 1.0 release. There will be a 1.1. Chillax.

If apple was going to replace something that's worked well for a long time and has had a lot of people depend on it, it would have been wise for them to be upfront about all the limitations and more importantly provide both maps applications and then transition over to their own once it was no to snuff..

For a company that prides itself on releasing products that have received a lot of attention, a "1.0 release" doesn't make sense. Half finished products are Google's bread and butter (they are the masters of the "beta" product), not Apple.
