iOS 6 Update been 'preparing update' for 12 hours?

Hi i tried updating my iPhone 4S to iOS 6 last night and it got as far as 'preparing update' about half was across the blue bar.... and thats it.

Been stuck there for 12 hours now.

Any ideas? I have done a force restart, just stayed in the same position. No idea what to do from here.

Restart it again, everyone that had the same problem, got a happy ending.

Did you free up space before upgrading, cause that seems to be the culprit.

mate I must of restarted it about 10 times no joy, plenty of space available.
