I just bought a used Mac that's been totally wiped with a completely fresh install of Lion. It contains an extra Seagate hard drive, however when I run the Disk Utility or the Seagate Software, the hard drive isn't detected.
I know the hard drive's installed correctly as it hasn't been disconnected/moved since the previous owner was using it without issue.
Is there anything I need to do in order to make my Macbook recognize the drive? Is this issue due to the computer being wiped?
Thanks
It's a mid-2010 upgraded Macbook.
