Hi, I just set up my Linksy E1500 on my Macbook Pro 10.8.1 yesterday (which took time because I had to do it manually because the Cisco Connect Setup wasn't compatible)..
The wi-fi at this point is set up and fine, I can use it. I disabled the WMM in order to get faster download speeds. And I thought I had previously set up a username/password to connect to the internet, but when I checked again, it doesn't look like it took.
So I tried logging in to http://192.168.1.1/ like I had previously done by just leaving the username blank and typing in admin for the password. Only this time, it didn't work.
I've tried admin/admin username/pw combination, didn't work. I tried using the pw I thought I set up the wireless in in case that would work, no dice. I've restarted my router/modem, I've clicked that back button on my E1500 to reset for 30 seconds, I've restarted my computer. I've tried hooking up my ethernet cable to my laptop instead of wifi. No dice. Nothing's working.
So, how do you I log-in at this point to my server account so I can manually change my wifi password? The last time I remember successfully being on http://192.168.1.1/ was when I disabled my WMM.
Any help would be MOST appreciated. I've heard you guys are the best. Thank you.
