iPads

Hi there,

I'm a university student who will be leaving for a year-long exchange in two weeks. I have a Macbook Pro that I will be bringing with me on my trip.

I am strongly considering getting the iPad 3.

Do you think it's worth getting if I already have a Macbook Pro? Do you have an iPad? If so, do yo use it often? Do you think somebody in my position would get good use out of it?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Too subjective. I have no idea what you use the MBP for or what you want the iPad 3 for.

I have both, and use both for different things.

I hate to say it…but this EXACT situation has been discussed on Mac-Forums MANY times! "Student or non-Student has a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air…and is wondering if getting an iPad is worth it."

I don't do much on my MBP - just the basic typing, surfing the web, watching movies, etc.
