Slow streaming video MacBook

I have a MacBook core 2 Duo 2.0 1GB RAM 10.6.8 and when trying to play videos on the news sites all it does is buffer and never will play. I'm on a WIFI connection that states 8.65Mb download speed. How do I change the play mode to HTML5 from Flash or is that not my problem?:Angry-Tongue:

Part of the problem is your MacBook uses the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics chipset which borrows 144MB of memory from your system in order to function properly. It's just not a very good GPU for streaming videos. And since your machine only has 1 GB of memory, that doesn't help.
