Hello all,
My uni assigns everyone an FTP server which I use quite regularly. I use the standard copy and paste to mirror everything that I do on my MBP, on to my FTP space. I use Forklift for this. Im just wondering if there is a way to automate this? For example every half hour my MBP will connect to my FTP, compare the time stamp on the files, and if there is a newer one overwrite it with the new one? Perhaps using Automator??
I am aware that my TimeMachine does this sorta for me, but im thinking worst case scenario. That I either loose, or have my MBP and WD Passport stolen.
Any ideas at all will be appreciated
Thank you
Chris
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't know really know where to post this. I thought this might be perhaps the best place
