Hello,

I am preparing a seminar that I will be presenting from my laptop with a mirrored view of my screen on a projector.

I was wondering, is there a way to only show part of my screen on the projector? The idea behind this is so I could keep notes on the side of my screen that I could copy commands from or just read my notes, without this actually appearing on the presentation canvas.

Its not a big deal, just wondering if there is a way to do this - only show part of my screen on a mirrored display. Thanks for tips.

I'm on OS 10.6.8

Which presentation software are you using? I know that with Powerpoint you can hide your notes so that only the current slide will show on the screen. I'm not sure if Keynote does the same thing as I no longer have it installed.

It's not a slide presentation. I need to show an application, web page, terminal commands and so on ..

OK, I understand. Sorry, I don't know of a way of not showing notes in that type of presentation. Perhaps someone else may have an idea of how to do it.
