Okay, maybe someone can help me out with this, because I can't seem to wrap my head around it. I have a Logitech F310 Gamepad that I've been using with my 09 MBP for awhile now. However, after I updated to Mountain Lion, my Mac will only register the gamepad if I plug it in right after I log in from a restart or just booting up, and then will only register it for a few hours. After it decides I can't use it anymore, no amount of removing and replugging or switching USB ports will work. I've checked all the ports with a flash drive, and they are still active, but for whatever reason won't read the Gamepad. I don't even know where to start with this issue, anything you guys could suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked with Logitech to see if they have issued new gamepad drivers for Mountain Lion?
