Proxy

UPDATE: Google whats my ip and it will tell you. Does my ip have to match the one of the proxy?

Hi,
I'm new to the forums, so blah
So when I connect ot a proxy, my ip doesn't change. How do I get it to work?
I'm using https proxy 95.31.23.240:3128

I've never had luck with using proxies. At least the free ones on the web. Whenever I would check my IP from ipchicken.com or other IP sites it would tell me my real IP. So I don't trust them at all. Just my 2 cents.
