My daughter has just gone to france to school for 4 months and cannot get her ipod to hook up to her wireless there. The ipod was bought in canada. Her mac book is working fine but the ipod wont connect. The only thing she can do on the ipod is listen to music and play a couple of games she has on it. It wont recognize the wireless there and it wont let her log into her apple account .... any suggestions

thanks

Christine

What sort of a Wireless network is it? If it's a 802.11N at 5Ghz or something, then that's most likely the culprit. Does the iPod recognize other networks if she goes roaming around France?

not really sure of the modem because it is not located in the room, it is supplied by the apartment, she hasn't really been out around yet to try another location. I did have her reset her network settings to see if that would work but nothing. If that is the problem can it be fixed
