dock changing?

hey guys, i have actually searched for this and not found any help.

Basically, what program do you all use to change your docks? i've found a few and need to know a reliable one.

A good one to use is CandyBar. If you are using Mountain Lion then apparently you cannot change the dock itself anymore, only the indicator lights can be changed. But if you are below that like I am, then it is the best app that I have used hands down.

But be careful. There are loads of threads here and elsewhere from people who really got things screwed up by trying to customize icons, etc.

Yeah but the good thing about CandyBar is that there is always a way to revert it. You can always undo the changes to an icon and revert the dock with one button. It has a very well designed interface.

What specifically is wrong with the dock that you feel you have to change it?

nothing is wrong, not by a long shot, but all the icons i have look slick and black, and i wanted a shiny black dock too
