Mac ProBook OS

I own a Mac Book Pro model#A1212. The Hard Drive was a 160GB that stopped working. I bought a WD Scorpio Blue 500 GB to replace previous HD. I now have no OS. The original discs long lost in home move and fire.

I have just purchased a Box Snow Leopard Disc can I instal this directly as the OS or do I still need the original Disc 1 Instal Disc.

If you purchased the boxed version of Snow Leopard, it will install just fine. It also has iLife on it so don't forget to also install the apps.
