My 27" Imac running OS 10.6.8 is coming up to 2 yrs old has just refused to install Ilife '11 from my DVD drive saying their was a problem with the installation and suggesting I try again or contact the software manufacturer. I have tried 6 times to install without success and now I find I can't upgrade my Toast 11.06 to 11.1 from an internet download either - I get the same message. I have tried switching off the machine and disconnecting the plug, leaving it a while and trying again but to no avail.
Has any one out there had the same problems and if so how did you fix it?
